Backup Systems
Electricity is vital to the operation of modern homes. Yet most houses have only one source of power supply. Our back-up power systems are far more advanced than gas generators. The critical circuits in your home are moved from your main breaker panel to a new sub panel. Normal utility power is passed through the system to this sub panel.
The system maintains its energy storage at 100% ready. Whether the utility power is off or on and not within safe limits (brown out), the unit automatically disconnects from the utility and connects to the backup system. When utility power returns to normal and remains stable the system automatically transfers back to utility and waits for the next event. The systems can also have the capability to back-feed renewable energy onto the utility lines with the addition of solar modules or wind turbines. (see Grid Tie)
